Harpies Bizarre

Had a lovely surprise in the post this morning. juniperus sent me some BPAL imps. I have been mostly wearing Mag Mell and sniffing my wrists compulsively all afternoon. I'm looking forward to trying the others - I can see me becoming addicted quite easily.
In other news, my wood burning stove has been connected at long last, so we now have a source of heat in the evenings.

On the beta front, I've had my first ss/hg exchange fic through, which was both unusual and excellent - I think the recipient will be chuffed with it.

Also Sylvanwood's A most Important Element in Water is hotting up - lovely smutty chapter will be up soon.

My own writing is continuing to be rather turgid - just can't seem to get into my stride at all. Even writing drabbles is like pulling teeth. Everything seems like too much of an effort. Hope it passes soon...

Good to see the enthusiasm for the hgss_exchange is as strong as ever - there are some brilliant prompts there, and it's also gratifying to see just how many people are specifying no non-con rape mlc etc. Gives me a warm feeling inside.

Tempting though it is, I shan't be signing up (and, God help me, I've got a Regency fic bunny out of reading the prompts -AARGh - kill it now!), but as usual, I will be offering to beta (if you're one of my regulars, this goes without saying).
