Harpies Bizarre

Had a lovely surprise in the post this morning. juniperus sent me some BPAL imps. I have been mostly wearing Mag Mell and sniffing my wrists compulsively all afternoon. I'm looking forward to trying the others - I can see me becoming addicted quite easily.
In other news, my wood burning stove has been connected at long last, so we now have a source of heat in the evenings.

On the beta front, I've had my first ss/hg exchange fic through, which was both unusual and excellent - I think the recipient will be chuffed with it.

Also Sylvanwood's A most Important Element in Water is hotting up - lovely smutty chapter will be up soon.

My own writing is continuing to be rather turgid - just can't seem to get into my stride at all. Even writing drabbles is like pulling teeth. Everything seems like too much of an effort. Hope it passes soon...

I've been beta-ing so much this past week, it's a wonder I'm not cross-eyed. Camillo has just written an extra smutty little chapter for Good as Gold called Morning After Night Before, which, if you haven't already read it on her journal, will be coming to an archive near you shortly. Sylvanawood's A Most Important Element in Water is coming to the boil nicely and Madqueenmab's Properties of Silver is so good it should be assayed and hallmarked.

And I'm still battling on with a smutty piece of my own--almost finished the first chapter. Septentrion, if you're feeling up to it, I'll be emailing you soon.
